Networking skills workshop 

Purpose of the workshop:

To help you master the skills that will enable you to connect and develop relationships with a wealth of potential customers and suppliers.


Learning outcomes:

At the end of the workshop you will be aware of:

  • the benefits of networking 
  • your natural networking style.
  • the importance of networking with a spirit of generosity
  • the four stages of networking
  • tools and techniques for developing your networking skills
  • the range of networking opportunities available to you
  • how to identify and build your current networks 

You will also:

  • have practised the key skills, including the opportunity to prepare and deliver a 60 second elevator pitch.
  • leave the workshop with a Networking action plan for implementation over the forthcoming months


Forum theatre based learning:

This workshop includes the use of actors. As a delegate you will have the opportunity to direct the conversation and behaviours of actors 'role playing' networking situations. This will allow you to immediately see the impact of your suggestions and decisions. You will not be required to role-play
