Networking Skills  

Purpose of the workshop: To help you master the skills that will enable you to connect and develop relationships with a wealth of potential customers and suppliers.

 

Learning outcomes: At the end of the workshop you will be aware of:

  • the benefits of networking 
  • your natural networking style.
  • the importance of networking with a spirit of generosity
  • the four stages of networking
  • tools and techniques for developing your networking skills
  • the range of networking opportunities available to you
  • how to identify and build your current networks 

 

You will also:

  • have practised the key skills, including the opportunity to prepare and deliver a 60-second elevator pitch.
  • leave the workshop with a networking action plan for implementation over the forthcoming months and a list of Hampshire networking groups and activities.

 

Drama based learning: This workshop includes the use of actors. As a delegate, you will have the opportunity to direct the conversation and behaviours of actors 'role-playing' networking situations. This will allow you to immediately see the impact of your suggestions and decisions. You will not be required to role-play
